Indian Tourist Visa Information
Indian Tourist Visas allow multiple entries into the country, however, there must be a gap of at least 2 months between two visits to the country on a Tourist Visa. Applicants seeking permission to enter India multiple times within two months must apply for a special re-entry permit in advance of travel to India.

Embassy News
Yemen - Effective January 21st, 2010 no visas will be issued upon arrival in Yemen. Travelers must obtain the appropriate visa in advance.
Brazil - Effective January 11th, 2010 US passport holders will no longer be required to enter Brazil within 90 days to activate their visa. It will be valid for the length of the visa, making it easier to re-enter Brazil at a later time in the event a trip is canceled or postponed.
Sweden - Effective January 4th, 2010 the Consulate General of Sweden in New York will be closed. An Honorary Consulate will open to provide some services, though visa applications should now be sent to Travisa in Washington DC.
Argentina - Effective December 20th, 2009 the Argentine Government has introduced an entry fee for foreign visitors. The fee is based on reciprocity. For US citizens, the current fee is $131, for Canadian citizens the fee is $70 and for Australian citizens the fee is $100. Once paid, the fee is valid for multiple entries into Argentina.
Sweden - Effective November 20th, 2009 the Consulate General of Sweden in Los Angeles closed. Applicants living in the Los Angeles jurisdiction should send visa applications to be processed through Travisa in Washington DC.
New Passport and Visa Requirements
India - Effective January 25th, 2010 the Indian government will no longer accept a school diploma in place of the applicant's birth certificate requirement. A copy of the applicant's birth certificate must be submitted with all visa applications. Please visit our Visa Instruction Page for complete, current visa requirements.
India - Effective January 15th, 2010, the Indian government has introduced new requirements for all visa applicants. All applicants must submit a copy of their birth certificate or school diploma. Please visit our Visa Instruction Page for a complete list of requirements.
Brazil - Effective January 11th, 2010 US passport holders will no longer be required to enter Brazil within 90 days to activate their visa.
India - As of December 10th, 2009, the Indian government has introduced new requirements for Employment Visas. 1) Tax Liability Letter from employer in India and 2) Employment Details Form. Please visit our Visa Instruction Page for complete details and forms.

US Passport Requirement - As of June 1st, 2009, the U.S. government has implemented the full requirement for U.S. citizens entering the United States to have a passport or passport card. A passport is now required for all international travel, including travel to Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean. Cote D'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) - As of January 15th, 2009, US citizens traveling to Cote D'Ivoire will require a visa stamped in their passport in advance of arrival. Please visit our Visa Instruction Page for complete details.
Egypt - As of January 1st, 2008, US citizens traveling to Egypt for business can no longer acquire visas on arrival. Business visas to Egypt must be obtained in advance. Please visit our Visa Instruction Page for requirements.
Belgium - As of April 1st, 2007, Business Travelers are required to complet the on-line registration, called the "limosa" declaration, is required. See the special instructions on Travisa's Visa Instruction Page for more information.

Travisa opened a new office in Atlanta, July 2008, to process visas for Brazil and other countries with consulates in this jurisdiction.
Travisa has introduced new on-line visa application forms for several countries. These forms are designed to be user friendly, they provide helpful hints and instructions so filling out the forms is easier. Travisa's on-line application forms are now available for Chinese, Russian, Indian and Tanzanian visas.
New Fees
Thailand - The Embassy of Thailand has waived the consular fees for tourist visas until March 4th, 2010.
Australia - Effective January 1st, 2010, the Australian Embassy has introduced new consular and visa fees.
Belarus - Effective January 1st, 2010, the Belarussian Embassy has introduced new consular and visa fees.
Turkey - Effective January 1st, 2010, the Turkish Embassy has introduced new consular and visa fees.
Kyrgyzstan - Effective July 27th, 2009, the Kyrgyz Embassy has introduced new consular and visa fees.
United Kingdom - Effective June 8th, 2009, British Passport renewal fees have increased.
Cameroon - Effective May 11th, 2009, Cameroon visa fees have increased.
Kenya - Effective May 1st, 2009, Kenya visa fees have changed, the fee has decreased.
Russia - Effective April 11th, 2009, The Embassy of Russia will change consular fees and visa processing times.
Vietnam - Effective October 8th, 2008, the Embassy of Vietnam will increase their fees.

Kenya - New on-line application form introduced. As of June, 2009 the on-line form is required for visa processing in all jurisdictions.
US Passport Agency - New on-line application form for every type of passport processing, including new passport, renewal, name change or adding pages.
Countries Now Requiring Visas for US Citizens

Countries No Longer Requiring Visas for US Citizens
France - As of August 1st, 2009, United States citizen airline crew members on duty no longer require a Schengen crew visa to travel to operate in or transit through France.
South Korea - As of November 19th, 2008, United States citizens no longer require a visa to travel to South Korea for business or tourism for up to 90 days.
